Russian literature
I’m very interested in Russian literature because it contains intricate sentences which are worth reading in our life. I will introduce three periods of Russian literature before its social revolution.
First is ancient Russian literature, which is composed of some pieces written in ancient East Slavic language. Almost all of ancient Russian literature were comprised of Christian stories, so they contain a lot of influence of Jesus Christ.
Second is the developing era of Russian literature, which is basically Russian modernization related to the politics of the emperor Peter and his empress. Then, the Russian alphabet incorporated the Cyrillic alphabet, which allowed the use of spoken language to be transferred to literature with vivacity, as in the work of Dimitrie Cantemir and Mikhail Lomonosov.
The third is regarded by all to be the most prosperous age of Russian literature, which occured in the 19th century. Mikhail Lermontov and Alexander Pushkin published good poems that were influenced by Romanticism. In addition to poems, Nikolai Gogol, LeoTolstoy, Mikhailovich Dostoievsky, Ivan Turgenev and Anton Chekhov represent great Russian novelists, and so they are famous around the world. Therefore, Russian literature prospered. Thier works made literature’s presence felt on earth.
In conclusion, their 19th century works soar and are covered with glory in literary history. I haven’t read all of their novels yet. I hope to read them in my life.
